Another blogger made a statement regarding the closed loop system in Pennsylvania and says it was already in Texas:
“Closed loop systems channel all the toxic solids and semi solids into tanks where they are then taken out to rural areas and dumped on farm land. City people love them because they don’t have to see or smell the waste and they can claim clean drilling. From a public health perspective the best option is to fracture formations using only sand and water, or instead sand and water with non-toxic additives. Regulatory bodies should require producers to use non-toxic drilling fluids
